When was the last time that an artist had 6 different genre types listed next to his name? For me blogging about music this is the first time I've had to list it. Brail a former standout Cello player from Topeka West, with a voice that got him a partial scholarship to Washburn, along with that popular string work, is a constant in the Topeka music scene. Besides his own music Brail has orchestrated work for The Washburn Ichapellas, a new acapella group at Washburn University, and has worked on collaborative efforts with many other local artist. Brail started his music career at a very young age signing with a label known as Soultaker Records in his early teens. He was performing in nightclubs with his label-mate RIP at the ripe age of 14. He has kept loyal to his Soultaker brand, through his decade with the label, noted by his Production tag on his beats, "Soultaker hits, just like mom used to make!" Soultaker is no-longer an active label as it has morphed and apparently absolved other smaller indie labels to form New Midwest Entertainment. Brail has used YouTube to enter several, featured 16s on different artist songs, Brail was an Honorable Mention for the #WatchMe2013, for a feature with DeStorm. Another popular YouTube work is another collaborative ideal with Fiyablasta,(https://twitter.com/fiyablasta), is an "anti dance-song" dance-song known as 'BootySweat' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ux2i3KiDRA), the music video is nearing 90k views, and had gained notary, and Brail decided to release a 'How to BootySweat' instructional video.
Brail is also a huge advocate of video games and competition within the city he calls home. He recently paired with some well known figures in the gaming world of Topeka, to set up and execute a successful tournament of two of the most influential 2D Arcade games ever made.
